I don't want to do it alone - I probably can't - I want to work with a team to get to the root of the problem and work through options for eliminating it. Maybe it's a simple tweak to a process; maybe it's a total overhaul. Whatever it is, I don't want to be the solution - I want to be part of the solution.

Mapping out a single-pass waterfall project plan is great, but that doesn't always work. I can help the team take small steps and make incremental gains - do that a few times, and you end up at the same destination, except you've learned more and everyone is more comfortable with the result.
