Experience
I have worked as a systems analyst and administrator for over 20 years and have completed numerous projects across various verticals, with a number of applications as the backbone of those projects.
Skills
I have a variety of skills, primarily around reporting and extracting data from SQL databases. I am also proficient in server (and desktop) administration and management, as well as line-of-business applications (ERPs, FSMs), their data/process flow, and general business needs.
Approach
In most situations, I prefer a collaborative approach to diagnosing problems and reaching a solution. I enjoy being part of a team - even leading one - but thrive on working with others to solve (or - at the very least - work around) business problems.
Hobbies
I enjoy being outdoors - specifically kayaking (lakes and ponds...not whitewater). I don't do it as much as I should; it's relaxing and good exercise. I suppose I also like TV and doom-scrolling Reddit too, but that's slightly less interesting.
